Imagine
five fun-filled days with more than 700 unschoolers—life
learners, gentle parents and kindred spirits all around you,
celebrating freedom and joy. This is what awaits at Live and Learn,
along with events like the ice-breaking ice cream social, funshops
galore, insightful talks, intimate round-table chats and plenty of
round-the-clock socializing. Perhaps one participant captured the
conference spirit best, saying, “The weekend was...
spectacular,
life-affirming, joyful powerful, fun, joyful, peaceful, free, relaxing,
joyful and swirly. Just like unschooling is.” Be a part of
unschooling in action next year in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains
of North Carolina.
Join
hundreds of unschooling families from across the country on Labor
Day Weekend as we devote a weekend to sharing our love, laughter,
successes and challenges with one another... kindred unschooling
spirits all! We will have a plethora of exciting, forward-thinking
folks with us in addition to a packed weekend of on-the-edge or
over-the-edge topics and activities for adults, teens and kids. As one
attendee told us, "This is the most profound, thought-provoking weekend
my family has ever experienced... truly an
event for thinkers on-the-edge. We felt nurtured, inspired and the
entire weekend was so life-affirming. We can't wait to attend again
next year."
Imagine... A place where you can experience an unschooling community first hand. Where you can ask questions and get ideas from experienced unschoolers. Where no one will ask what curriculum you use and you will be surrounded by free families where kids are respected. We're thrilled to offer this joyful, life-affirming gathering of unschooling families in beautiful Corvallis, Oregon on the weekend of April 20-22, 2007. Whether your family has been unschooling for years, or is just getting started, the LIFE is Good Conference will give you the opportunity to connect with other unschoolers who are Learning In Freedom Everyday.
