Articles:
Connections will consider original articles on a wide variety of unschooling and mindful parenting topics. Articles suitable for publication in our ezine generally fall into the following three categories:
- illustrating unschooling or mindful parenting in action,
- deepening our understanding of unschooling or mindful parenting as philosophies,
- inspiring others on their unschooling or mindful parenting journey.
Length is less important than a clear, compelling point; the advantage of an online venue is that pages don't have to fit together or fill space. Subject matter should determine length—write as much as you need to get your point across.
However, writing should be clear, specific and concise, with each word serving a careful purpose within the overall piece. Articles will be edited for clarity, and the editor is happy to work with authors on content and expression when the topic or draft is particularly promising.
Payment for accepted articles is a one-year subscription to Connections.
To submit articles for review, please send an initial query with the title and a brief description of the piece or the first paragraph to submissions@organiclearning.org
